Yamaha B3 Piano
The Yamaha Music Corporation was established in 1887 by reed organ maker Torakusu Yamaha in the city of Hamamatsu, Japan. Since then they have become the largest and arguably the most famous manufacturer of musical instruments in the world. They have and continue to produce some of the most sought after acoustic and digital pianos in the industry.
Yamaha's 48" B3 model was designed as an alternative to the U1. It shares many of the same high quality components and designs while being offered at a more affordable price.
This 2014 model is in "Like New" condition. The hammers and felt are clean and show no signs of wear. The action is fluid and responsive. Tonally it is extremely similar to the U1. The treble has nice clarity without being overly bright and the bass-tenor is rich and warm. The cabinet is finished in beautiful polished ebony black and is in excellent condition.
This is a more affordable option for those considering a Yamaha U1 or Kawai K300.
